We have some 400 people working on the yard - many in complementary business disciplines: PR, event management, SEO, web design, art, photography, games design, animation, TV production, film editing.

And, on Tyneside, the creative community extends...

This event is a chance to meet fellow Yardees as well as invite your contacts to network amongst the community.

Where?

The Kiln has a number of free spaces at the moment - we operate Studio25 as a meeting room.

Bring?

Yourself and a couple of beers for the pot. We'll be bringing a good stack to start things off.

What's on offer?

At our first night, we pulled a crowd of over 40 different creative and media locals. It's always a surprise to find people who are in the same space that you never knew existed. Already, I know of invoices that have been cut from ideas generated on the night.

Highlight?

Legendary picture framer Bruce Reid has lent us his super-size Scalectrix for Studio25 - so challenge your pals or beat your neighbours.
